Orientation Part I: Dozens Gather in the Sun

This Sunday reinforced the idea that TBC has an amazing potential for good. The diversity of the group we managed to bring together was so inspiring. My goals for this organization are grandiose and long term, and I know that we have the ability to achieve them. Surrounded by leaders, friends, and many new faces, we imagined a future of Together Because that I am so excited to be a part of.

On Sunday morning, dozens of leaders from around New York City gathered at the East River Park Ampitheater for Part I of our May Orientation!

Over coffee, bagels, and even some frisbee, we discussed how to build power to take action on issues of concern to people with disabilities, as well as folks in Crown Heights worried about gentrification.
